Human Resources Intern 


The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is seeking a creative and aspiring HR superstar to join our team for the summer as an HR Intern.

 Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in providing and managing content for articles on the Academy’s employee intranet
  • Taking charge of onboarding projects to include research of our current processes and making recommendations to update with focus on staff engagement and feedback
  • Assist in event planning, coordination and execution of staff events
  • Develop content for the Academy’s internship group page on LinkedIn
  • Assist in maintaining accurate employee files
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned
Position Requirements

Candidates must be:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
  • Interested in a career in Human Resources
  • A strong communicator – both verbally and written – and able to communicate with staff at all levels
  • Able to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
  • Flexible to meet changing demands and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
