Account Manager - Broadband Sales 

Description

Promote and sell commercial telecommunications services in order to generate revenue for the cities of Thomasville, Cairo, Camilla and Moultrie.  Maintain revenue growth consistent with the business environment within accepted business guidelines and make decisions to achieve sales goals.

Contact local businesses within assigned territories.

Explain and sell CNS telecommunications to commercial customers.

Telecommunications (Internet, Phone and Digital TV)

  1. Develop strategies for identifying business leads.

  2. Explain different packages & determine which plan works best for customer.

  3. Provide quote & materials to customer.Answer customer questions to close sale.

  4. Facilitate the installation of services, including coordination with CNS supervisor and establishing services in Ubill.

  5. Maintain relationship with customer & provide customer service during outages or changes to their account.

Provide Marketing Ideas and work with Marketing Department on promotions, materials & events.

Develop & implement marketing initiatives to increase commercial sales & promotions of services.

Monitor competitors pricing to maintain the most competitive rates possible.

Represent CNS at meetings & events, while offering presentations of services.

Manage and maintain weekly & monthly reports. 

Flexibility to manage responsibilities between each city and each service provided.

Work with City Managers to maintain the needs and goals of each city. 

 
Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred.Demonstrated experience and expertise in verbal/written communication.

Experience in sales.

Excellent organizational skills and self motivation.

Understanding of telephone, Internet and digital television services.

Ability to meet and relate well with business people.

 
Physical/Environmental Requirements Mobility to work in typical office settings using standard office equipment is required. In addition, vision to read printed materials and computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
