National Customer Service Representative- Ceres, CA, US

JOB STATEMENT: National Customer Service Representative is responsible for proper handling and all paperwork involved with outgoing National freight. Knowledge of IFS, National pricing, SPA’s and organizational abilities are essential. Good customer service is required. Work closely with CEO and National Sales Representatives.

Essential Duties:

  • Customer service (receive orders, problem solving, inquiries, billing)
  • Input new orders
  • Coordinate POS with customer orders by calculating weight and cube of POS per space allotted per customer wine order and notifying POS Department of POS shipments for staging with National wine orders
  • Track National POS shipments
  • Inventory control
  • Schedule National shipments with outside carriers
  • Prepare appropriate shipping documents for scheduled orders
  • Invoice National orders
  • Invoice National samples
  • National price list
  • National SPAs
  • End of day reports (as back up)
  • End of Month reports
  • Coordinate control State Sticker orders
  • Shipment updates for Fred Franzia
  • Combined on hand inventory report for Production Department

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer service or logistics

Knowledge of:

  • Pricing and SPAs per National Region
  • Traffic concepts
  • Proper terminology
  • Inventory
  • Pallet configurations

Ability to:

  • Communicate with a wide variety of people
  • Calculate weight of product
  • Calculate amount of POS per space allocated per order
  • Coordinate shipping with manpower

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sit for an extensive period of time
  • Lift occasionally (office materials, wine boxes)
  • Perform tasks using standard computer equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Limited noise level
  • Indoor climate

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when in production facility
