„h Complete daily work routines in an efficient and timely manner.
„h Checks products in prep area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
„h Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up. Understands and adheres to the 3-step method for cleaning.
„h Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
„h Completes food preparation, which may include cooking of product.
„h Completes training courses as directed by the Manager.
Food Safety and Occupational Health & Safety
„h Responsible for complying with all food and beverage health and safety regulations, as well as all Federal, State, Tribal and local applicable laws. Ensuring food is prepared and stored correctly and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety standards.
„h Carries out temperature checks and records as per company processes.
„h Completes daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per the cleaning charts.
Security & Loss Prevention
„h Take precautions to prevent theft of, and damage to, the stock or store.
„h Follows company security procedures.
„h Secures cash and stock from loss or theft.
„h Counts end of shift monies and drops in safe.
„h Uses Point of Sale system/cash registers to record the order and compute the amount of the bill. Collects payment from guests and makes change.
„h Follows safety procedures to prevent injury.
„h Provide a safe work environment for employees and customers.
„h Any and all other projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
„h Must be at least 16 years old.
„h Six (6) months previous retail or food & beverage experience preferred.
„h Must be able to pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
„h Must be able to pass Non-Gaming Suitability licensing.
„h Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
„h Must have strong Guest service.
„h Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently.
„h Must possess effective communication and organization skills.
„h Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
„h Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.
„h Ability to count money and make proper change.
„h Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to:

„h See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision;
„h Stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl;
„h Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to:
„h A low-to-moderate noise level (offices).
