Description

SUMMARY
Files keys and parking tags and retrieves same based upon customer demand. Maintains control of valet forms and valet dispatch work areas. Works with other departments to ensure accurate and timely customer transactions. Assures prompt, courteous service to all customers, internal and external. Always presents a friendly and professional image at the casino.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Places customer keys in appropriate location in key booth after vehicle has been parked.
2. Key Booth maintains control of customer property to prevent loss of keys and keeps key booth orderly at all times to expedite retrieval.
3. Valet Desk takes valet ticket from guest, calls valet ticket number to key booth, key booth assure the correct valet ticket / vehicle is delivered to guest promptly.
4. Keeps work area in order.
5. May be required to lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas and signal or direct vehicle drivers with hands or flashlight to the parking area.
6. Notifies security immediately if there is a vehicle accident or injury in the parking lot, or unruly guest in valet lobby area.
7. Must be able to drive Casino owned vehicles in valet department.
8. Prepares daily reports as required.
9. Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
10. Adheres to casino company department policies and procedures at all times.
11. Additional duties as assigned and necessary.

This classification is a “safety sensitive” position as defined by MCNC. As a “safety sensitive” classification, you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process, or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED is required.

EXPERIENCE
Class II or III Casino experience preferred.

 
Gaming License Must obtain and maintain a gaming license.
