Share Email Opening Title Home Loan QC Analyst  Category Audit/Compliance   Description Summary:  Responsible for managing an effective mortgage quality control program by continually assessing integrity of data and processes to meet investor guidelines.  Analyzes pre-fund and post-fund reviews and reports review findings to management. Responsible for the coordination of external post-close quality control reviews and for the maintenance of a management reporting system for both pre-funding and post-closing review findings.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:  Reviews selection of residential loan applications prior to funding for compliance with investor guidelines; underwriting data is complete and accurate.These may include FNMA, RD, FHA, and VA investor loans. Analyzes and performs monthly reporting of quality control to Investors within required timelines. Analyzes, prepares and communicates pre-fund loan review findings to Home Lenders, production staff, and Underwriters. Analyzes and prepares reports of pre-fund and post-close review findings to Senior Management. Manage the process of post close reviews performed by third party.This includes the file transfers, mitigation of deficiencies and final reporting to Senior Management. Perform the required audit of the third party vendor that performs the post close reviews within the required timelines. Review any loans with early payment defaults for quality control with investor and underwriting guidelines. Analyzes repurchase demands from Investors for potential challenge within limited timelines provided. Analyze and work with Investors on possible Indemnifications within limited timelines provided. Approve appraisers for use by appraisal management companies after review. Reviews Title Policy, Appraisal, Inspection reports etc. to assure compliance with investor guidelines. Works with operational areas to assist in and facilitate training related to home loan quality control standards.
