The Channel Operations Intern will work along our Channel Operations and Marketing teams; assisting with researching, planning, and executing activities to support our global distribution channel.
Vectorworks is looking to improve visitor experience and engagement among specific segments, increase following, and launch new programs to support the rapid growth of its subscription base.
Support global distribution by providing solutions to drive sales and increase leads
Work as part of team to develop, draft, and edit existing and new website and e-newsletter content
Work with Vectorworks staff and others to coordinate and develop web content to improve user experience, including better navigation and understanding of key information
Execute marketing programs, analyze their success, and recommend improvements
Conduct competitive and industry research and analysis
Support strategic event organization including the Annual Distributor Conference and 2017 Design Summit
Assist in the development, execution, and improvement of global marketing programs
Current student (junior/senior) or recent graduate in Business, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related field
GPA: above 3.0
Interest in building our student user population by contributing to the creation an execution of marketing programs focused on engaging university students
Interest in learning how a global channel operates in order to build marketing programs that can be deployed across international markets and industries
Excellent research, writing and organization skills
High motivation and the ability to work easily in both large team environments and independently
Exceptional writing and presentation skills
Familiarity with digital media, social networks, online forums and blogging
Ability to develop initiatives that meet brand objectives along with increasing web traffic, boosting sales, producing a return on investment or demonstrating measurable consumer awareness
Interest in building our student user population by creating compelling marketing programs with messaging focused towards university students
Ability to analyze, measure and report on program engagement metrics
Experience with Net-results, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp or similar e-newsletter service is helpful
Hands-on experience with marketing-related assignments and interactions
Prior internship experience at a public relations or marketing firm or corporate communications or marketing department
Ability to build reputation or influence across online communities through thought leadership
