Thank you for your continued interest in employment with Measurement Incorporated. Our company has grown to be the largest of its kind by providing consistent and reliable results to our clients. We are able to do so through the efforts of a professional and flexible staff, and we are pleased to count you as a valued member.
You will be eligible to work on the portions of the Smarter Balanced project that fit your qualifications and schedule in March, April, and May. This project requires readers to score brief writing samples for content, organization, grammatical conventions, and/or the student’s ability to respond to specific items in Reading, Research, and Math. The tests you will score come from many different states and from students at grade levels 3–8 and 11.
Disclaimer: Returning a completed reapplication will not guarantee a position. Selection of Reader/Evaluators is based on prior experience as well as performance (accuracy and productivity), attendance/punctuality, and appropriate conduct during previous projects. However, all experienced readers in good standing expressing interest in returning will be considered for the upcoming projects.
If you had a change of address, phone number, or e-mail address, please access your profile in MI-MSP and edit your contact information even if you are not available to work so that we will be able to contact you in the future.
If you re-applied in a timely manner but have not received an assignment to a project by March 2017, please contact us. Delays and glitches do happen occasionally. All communication will come from “hrservicesinc.com” or contain “measinc.com.” Please make sure to add these web addresses to your safe sender list so that our communications do not end up in your spam folder.
Please do not forward this link to new applicants. If you know someone who might be interested in working for Measurement Incorporated, onsite or online, please refer them to work4mi.com to apply for the Reader/Evaluator position or the Smarter Teacher only—Work from Home position.
Shifts are available between 8:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. ET.
Morning and afternoon shifts are in 3.5-hour blocks (you may choose to work one or both).
Evening shift is a 4-hour block.
Hours can be modified to accommodate busy teachers; however, all scoring is supervised and therefore needs to be completed within the hours when scoring leadership is present.
Beginning pay: $12.95 per hour (In some states, a limited number of educators who are currently teaching are eligible for higher pay and modified hours. Please contact us for more information.)
Increases are based on experience and proven performance.
If hired, you will be asked to register in our payroll system and set up direct deposit if you have a bank account.
Payments are made every other Friday for the preceding two-week pay period.
We look forward to having you re-apply for 2017 and hope that you continue to find your association with our company enjoyable and rewarding. Thank you for your time.
