Job Title: SAMS-E Operator

Division/Department: Army Programs Division       Report to: Area Manager

Scope: The SAMS-E Operator operates the Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E) in support of the Ammunition Supply Point/ Theater Storage Area contract. Uses SAMS-E to perform vehicle, equipment and container maintenance management and repair part supply functions

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Submit maintenance requisitions via an automated or manual supply transactions
  • Review, edit and post all received supply transactions within SAMS-E
  • Utilizing SAMS-E, issue and receive parts; open and close work orders; maintain equipment files; issue operators licenses; schedule equipment repairs, maintenance, and services
  • Create, review and submit daily ADHOC reports via SAMS-E
  • Conduct monthly parts reconciliations with the SSA and causative research against inventory and requisition discrepancies
  • Maintain and properly file hard copy files of supply transactions, voucher numbers, causative research, adjustment documents, documents, document register, and other records related to GFE Maintenance operations
