Share Email Opening Title SAMS-E Operator, ASP/TSA  Description Job Title: SAMS-E Operator                                                             Equivalent Labor Category: SAMS-E Operator Division/Department: Army Programs Division       Report to: Area Manager Scope: The SAMS-E Operator operates the Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E) in support of the Ammunition Supply Point/ Theater Storage Area contract. Uses SAMS-E to perform vehicle, equipment and container maintenance management and repair part supply functions ***Contingent Upon Contract Award*** ____________________________________________________________________________________ Job Duties & Responsibilities: Submit maintenance requisitions via an automated or manual supply transactions Review, edit and post all received supply transactions within SAMS-E Utilizing SAMS-E, issue and receive parts; open and close work orders; maintain equipment files; issue operators licenses; schedule equipment repairs, maintenance, and services Create, review and submit daily ADHOC reports via SAMS-E Conduct monthly parts reconciliations with the SSA and causative research against inventory and requisition discrepancies Maintain and properly file hard copy files of supply transactions, voucher numbers, causative research, adjustment documents, documents, document register, and other records related to GFE Maintenance operations       Position Requirements Minimum Skills & Qualifications Required: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in performing the following functions, check equipment availability, maintain equipment files, dispatch equipment, add/delete operators, enter equipment faults, schedule equipment maintenance, print dispatch control log, equipment service records, create maintenance work order/task and assign personnel Must have the ability to generate/produce data and reports needed for all required operations Must remain current with new and changing functions of the SAMS-E system and shall train on new supply systems as directed by the Government if SAMS-E is replaced or modified SAMS-E operators must have a thorough knowledge of read/write capability through the SAMS-E STAMIS. Must be fluent in the English language Must be able to perform and manage all the functions associated with the SAMS-E applications and at a minimum the SAMS-E end user manual.
