Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Confers with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
  • Conducts organizational training assessment annually
  • Coordinates training schedule with the hiring and training demands of the organization
  • Formulates teaching outline and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, meetings and workshops.
  • Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
  • Develops training content for LMS
  • Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training
  • Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
  • Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
  • Assists employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their positions.
  • Makes suggestions on improving work procedures.
  • Maintains training records and updates training matrices
  • Develops strong relationships with internal customers to develop course materials and receive feedback.
  • Implement strategies for improved culture. Provides system to measure change.
  • Coordinates employee relations activities including internal and external event planning and coordinates messaging of such events
  • Recruitment of Exempt staff
  • Directs and coordinates the performance management system
  • Discipline employees, address complaints and resolve issues.
  • Administer Recognition program
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Keeps work area neat and clean according to company standards.
  • Works safely and follows all company rules and procedures.
  • Follows all business and safety policies
     
 
Position Requirements

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related study; 3-5 years of related work experience or equivalent combined experience and education.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Certified professional in learning and performance credential

  • Experienced in authoring tools and platform presentations
