Description

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Community Healthcare Liaison (35 hrs wk).  Come and join us in making a difference for those with behavioral health issues.

The Community Healthcare Liaison identifies and develops key referral sources and builds working relationships with these contacts to maintain or increase the quality and quantity of referrals to the Organization.  Key objectives are to inform, educate, and communicate programs and services to existing and potential referral sources with the goal of increasing referrals and admissions.   Duties include:

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing referral sources

• Meet or exceed the minimum marketing contact and admissions expectations as determined by the Director of Behavioral Health

• Maintain knowledge of competition and services within the community

• Inform the Director of Behavioral Health of trends and changes identified in the marketplace

• Participate in community events, conferences and organizational programs and make presentations to facilitate a broader knowledge of the Catholic Charities' philosophy and to promote behavioral health services. 

• Develop and Deliver educational and service information presentations to potential and current referral sources

• Work in collaboration with the Director of Behavioral Health and Marketing Dept. to develop referral databases and marketing materials

• Complete and submit marketing activity reports in a timely manner

• Flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends, as needed

• Extensive travel, via company car, throughout the Service Area

• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Behavioral Health. 

 

 
Position Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is required

• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record

• Clinical experience and knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral healthcare 

• Ideal candidate will have direct clinical and healthcare marketing experience and a minimum of 2 years of proven record of referrals and census development or successful sales history within a healthcare field.
