About the Job

This position will primarily assist the Corporate Controller to reconcile, compile and analyze financial information for the organization. The incumbent will prepare expense variance reports, inventory analysis and presentations. Works closely with IS/IT to improve data integrity and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the accounting department in reconciling, compiling, and analyzing financial information of the customer service organization
• Preparing expense variance reports, inventory analysis and presentations
• Prepare and analyze company inventory reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
• Assist monthly financial closing and related accounting reports
• Assist with preparation of forecast and budget on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Work closely with IT personnel to identify and maintain source data to further develop reporting capabilities
• Provide account analysis for each department as required
• Coordinate Inter-company billings with Finance
• Responsible for FalconCare financial reporting
• Prepare Ad-hoc reports, as needed
• Will report directly to the Corporate Controller (Accounting) with dotted line reporting to the Director CS Finance and Business Development
• Other duties may be assigned by management in order to meet department or business objectives on an as-needed basis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Three (3) to five (5) years of progressive accounting experience in corporate accounting or public audit environment
• Advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Prior experience analyzing/reconciling inventory required
• Proven analytical and leadership skills
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong team player with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff, establish rapport and build positive working relationships
