You will provide leadership in Georgia to achieve performance targets, oversee business development, and deliver profitability goals.

To be a good fit for this opportunity you must have significant sales or marketing management experience in the Atlanta Market, including managing teams within a multi-tier distribution system. Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry is required. We are looking for a professional with a solid understanding of brand and/or category management, desire to champion new brands, as well as experience creating and managing budgets.

Wine Certifications, WSET II, CMS Level 2 minimum, a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development, implementation and achievement of annual sales and accounts sold goals.
  • Develop, implement and execute sales programs and pricing strategy.
  • Develop and execute merchandising and distribution standards with our distributor network.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with the top on and off premise accounts, both chain and independents.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with distributor sales and management personnel.
  • Work each market with the top distributor sales representatives, field managers and Key Account Managers.
  • Conduct mid-year and annual planning and review meetings with all distributors.
  • Daily distributor management responsibilities including monitoring of price points (including competitive set), orders, shipments, samples, training and POS management.
  • Conduct sales meetings on a consistent basis to communicate sales and marketing objectives and keep winery brands at the forefront of all distributor sales presentations.
  • Conduct quarterly market analysis surveys in all major markets.
  • Provide monthly reports and accomplishments recap to direct report, ZONE manager
  • Manage GA Key Account Manager as direct report to DM position

Qualifications:

  • College degree with at least three years of wine industry experience at the Supplier Level, District Manager, Key Account Manager or other Management level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Diver or TradePulse or Microstrategy and PowerPoint
  • WSET II or CSW Certification Completion / Wine knowledgeable, from the vineyard to the table.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communications skills, including public speaking.
  • In possession of a high level of integrity, confidence, and the ability to forge strong professional relationships quickly.
  • Must be able to travel extensively within the region.
  • Strong desire to continue to grow professionally.
  • Must possess a current driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to meet the company's insurance requirements.
  • Must complete physical and drug screening
