Description

Job Summary

Conduct audits of loan files completed by Indecomm Associates related to underwriting.   Review of loan documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines as well as the clients’ requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Audit loan files for completeness and accuracy based on the client’s approved set of audit criteria
  • Review documents and data in the client’s origination, processing and closing systems to ensure they meet requirements and set standards of quality
  • Meet daily production requirements for review of loans as agreed upon with manager
  • Attend LSG Team and Client meetings, as required
  • Attend client and Indecomm on-site meetings, as  needed
  • Track trends and learning opportunities for assigned projects and make training suggestions as needed
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of industry standards and guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
 
Position Requirements

Required Experience and Skills

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years recent front line underwriting experience.
  • Prior quality control audit experience a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of federal, state and/or municipal laws and regulations
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Creative problem solver
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong analytical and judgment skills
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven track record of meeting production, quality and service deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work remotely from a secure home office with multiple software applications using dual screens, if remote option is available
  • Ability to travel as necessary
