Maintenance Mechanic-Ceres, CA, US
The Facility Maintenance Mechanic must be capable of maintaining processing equipment at maximum operating efficiency. The Maintenance Mechanic must be able to diagnose, analyze, and investigate malfunctions of plant process equipment and perform the necessary repairs and make adjustments in order to keep equipment in good operating condition. The Maintenance Mechanic will work independently with minimal supervision, work at various heights and awkward positions, and interact effectively with other workers and supervisors.
Essential Duties include:
Maintain/construct facility buildings and structures as required.
Replace/repair motors, gear boxes, drive units, pipelines and all other equipment and process components as required.
Maintain assigned records for downtime logs of equipment malfunction or component parts used for repair.
Workbench repair work; including grinding, cutting and welding.
Pipe fitting, painting, sandblasting, or other maintenance/construction trade work which may be required.
Keep all tools, carts and maintenance equipment clean, orderly and properly stored.
