Team members moves and cleans vehicles, verifies receipt of and performs damage inspection on new vehicles delivered to the dealership.  Team members will also initiate the prep and reconditioning process on all new and used vehicles.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles Places vehicle stock documentation in vehicles as requested Keeps new and used inventory lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the General Manager and in accordance with dealership display standards Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed Fuels new and used vehicle deliveries as directed by General Manager or Sales Manager Manages key tags for vehicles Other duties assigned, if needed   Position Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check and pre-employment drug screening Valid driver’s license with a good driving record High School Diploma or equivalent Outgoing, upbeat personality with excellent interpersonal skill Self-starter who is internally motivated to achieve established performance goals Reliable transportation and attendance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: None REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSURES: None PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; scoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and use foot/feet to operate machines. Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs. And occasionally up to 100 lbs. (assisted). This includes repetitive bending and lifting of items to stack or dump. Must be able to work under hot or cool, wet, and sometimes-dusty, and loud conditions, dust mask, coveralls and, or hearing protection may be required.
