Applies to all activities and guidelines for operations performed by the Marketing Executive. This job establishes strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objective for products and services by performing the following duties. This job description shall be reviewed as needed.
Maintains relationships, delivers sales presentations, and negotiates and closes deals to existing and potential customers.
Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, analyze business developments and monitoring market trends.
Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
Prepare quote prices, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs. Negotiates credit or contract terms and delivery dates.
Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
Maintain a strong corporate image by managing the development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales.
Formulate quote prices, estimates, and bids to the customer’s specific needs. Resolve customer concerns and provide continuous support.

Education and Training – Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or a minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in marketing for drilling rigs preferred.
Basic Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
