Seeking a self-motivated and experienced candidate to support the Standoff Munitions Application Center (SMAC). SMAC supports the Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC) by optimizing efficiency and combat effectiveness of High Demand Low Density (HD/LD) global strike and theater standoff munitions. This position is located at the government SMAC facility at Barksdale Air Force Base, located near Bossier City, LA.

The intelligence analyst shall assist geographic AOC’s, government agencies and centers as well as other members of the SMAC team in selecting and prioritizing targets and matching appropriate weapons to those targets to create specific desired effects that achieve objectives, taking account of operational requirements and capabilities.

Position Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education:
Required education: Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Engineering, Military Science, or Intelligence related degree required or equivalent related military work experience (United States Air Force [USAF], United States Navy [USN] or United States Marine Corp [USMC]).
- Minimum three years of experience working with AOC ISR systems and software.
- Minimum three years of experience working with and analyzing COMINT, MASINT, IMINT, COMINT, and SIGINT.
- Self-starter with ability to multitask.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
-SAP access will be required.

Preferred Skills and Education:
- Completion of formal AOC Field Training Unit (FTU) Course.
- Completion of service intelligence course.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of joint and AF ISR capabilities.
- Five years or more of experience working with AOC ISR systems and software.
- Demonstrated SME-level knowledge and experience of potential adversaries in the PACOM, CENTCOM, and EUCOM AORs.
- Participation in AOC exercises or operations as AOC ISR division member.
- Participation in AOC exercises or operations. Real world contingency experience is highly desired.
- Experience supporting AOC operations within classified environments to include Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS).
- Air Staff, major command (MAJCOM), or NAF staff experience.
Note: This position requires a TS/SCI DOD Security Clearance to be eligible for consideration.
