An assistant project manager shall have a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related technology field or a minimum of five (5) years of experience performing project management support duties.
The assistant project manager must have experience defining project requirements, developing project plans and monitoring and evaluating project performance. The APM should also have experience supporting system designs, software and equipment layout and developing, implementing, installing, testing, modifying and/or operating complex equipment and systems and developing test plans. The APM should have demonstrated experience instructing end users in the operation and maintenance of complex systems.
Must have demonstrated knowledge of the principals of project management, understand customer requirements and be capable of communicating clearly in writing and orally.
