Description

JOB SUMMARY:  Full-time Development Associate will play a key role in fundraising and marketing to support the mission of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:        

  1. Coordinate the Circle of Friends annual major gifts campaign and other special projects to include planning and coordinating presentations, disseminating information and organizing events.
  2. Provides support to Director of Development and Marketing and executes County Board priorities.
  3. Coordinate and collaborate with the Director of Development and marketing for Direct Mail campaigns.
  4. Participate on the Development Committee to the Board of Trustees including preparing Minutes and Board Reports.
  5. Work closely with Events Coordinator.
  6. Assist with Monmouth County Events.
  7. Perform prospect, foundation and corporate research.
  8. Work with eTapestry database and contact reports.
  9. Coordinate Community Awareness Initiatives in the four counties.
  10. Support graphic designer, Digital + Design Manager, with marketing initiatives.
  11. Collaborate on marketing and Development initiatives.

OTHER DUTIES:  As assigned.

 
Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  Extensive knowledge of development functions, marketing and events. Ability to gather and summarize data for reports, project management expertise, creative problem solver and ability to prioritize work. Graphic designs experience a plus. Knowledge of eTapestry is helpful.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: N/A

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate’s degree or 5 years of related work experience. One year of supervisory experience, if applicable. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to articulate Catholic Charities’ mission and services to donors and prospects, project coordination experience, with all levels of internal management as well as outside clients/vendors.
