This position is usually last to see the customer’s order so it’/s important that special attention is paid to detail and presentation of items. Responsible for maintaining full compliance of food safety and sanitation laws, including those related to storage, preparation and service of food.  Duties will include Food Service Sanitation. There are evening hours and weekend responsibilities with this position that may require extended hours. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Cook and prepare the exact number of items ordered by each customer, while working on other orders simultaneously. Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity Prepare all foods items in a timely fashion Check all orders for completion before they are handed off  Send orders out to pick up area once completed Restock, replenish and update inventories as appropriate for short order area and fry station. Perform other related duties as requested Prepare daily “prep” items, including funnel cake batter with  the use of industrial grade mixer Clean food preparation and service area including counters, dishes, equipment and floors Must be able to work flexible hours, which will include nights, weekends and holidays The proceeding functions have been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   Position Requirements SKILLS  Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, co-workers and supervisors (verbal and written). PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS Ability to lift fifty (50+) pounds Ability to work with both hands Ability to bend, squat and stand for long periods of time. Education and Experience Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required: One (1) to three (3) years verifiable work experience in the food service field and a minimum of 2 years managing a staff of at least 8 Required: Current Nevada Driver’s License and Southern Nevada Health District Food Handlers Card.
