Share Email Opening Title IT Helpdesk  EOE Statement Ascentis is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.   Description The person in this role will be the primary point of contact for the company’s helpdesk support.  They will be responsible for setting up new users as well as maintaining the current ones.  The position will also give the opportunity to take on more responsibility and learn new skill sets as the person proves capable. Responsibilities: 1.  Provide helpdesk support for all company users using ticketing system (Atlassian Service Desk) 2.  Maintain and improve user facing software and hardware 3.  Build and maintain PC’s and laptops as well as other end user facing equipment 4.  Create and maintain Shoretel VOIP phone system   Position Requirements 1.  Excellent customer service 2.  Strong Windows knowledge (all OS versions and Server preferred) 3.  Ability to grasp new concepts rapidly 4.  Excellent Critical thinking and problem solving skills 5. Hardware experience (PC’s, Laptops and servers), Preferred 6. Scripting to automate tasks/improve processes, Preferred   Location San Mateo   About the Organization The Ascentis mission is to create innovative products that are easy to use for the often under-served mid-market that cover the full Human Capital Management (HCM) suite.
