Summary: The Continuous Improvement Specialist provides leadership in driving operational efficiencies through business process improvement by creating, evaluating and sustaining standard operating procedures.  In addition, this position has responsibility to help in transforming behaviors to sustain organizational efficiencies through the creation and delivery of a blended learning environment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:   

  • Overall coordination of procedures
  • Identify the efficiencies and manage solutions
  • Provide direction and recommendations of work plan based on high, medium and low business goals
  • Determine and evaluate methods of how managers measure procedures
  • Establish and maintain standards around change control process for procedures
  • Evaluate current and future business process improvements
  • Ability to provide sound technical expertise
  • Create an overall plan to drive efficiencies through the creation of, ongoing evaluation, and sustainment of standard operating procedures; identify resources and provide timelines to navigate the organization
  • Provide guidance to managers with how federal and state regulations specific to the financial institution impact our business.
  • Strategically manage and coordinate continuous improvement efforts and programs related to quality processes and systems, including defining performance measures, process capabilities and process controls.
  • Work with departments to identify, develop, execute and maintain results of cost reduction initiatives.
  • Develop effective performance measures to communicate process performance and improvement.
  • Transform behaviors across the organization to sustain operational efficiencies through a blended learning environment.

 

Other Responsibilities:

Perform other related duties as required or assigned that are in the spirit of this job description and position as necessary for the Bank and the Department to function effectively.
