Share Email Opening Title Laboratory Technician  Great Info   Location Vernon, CA   Description Conduct analysis on samples from plant production, trucks, railcars, and from outside divisions Communicate with Marketing and Plant Production to inform of results and additional testing that may be required Conduct daily maintenance on analytical equipment or as required Assist in Sampler duties as required Maintain and clean Laboratory for a clean and well organized work place Wear all proper safety apparel or equipment as needed and trained Maintain and order Laboratory supplies as needed from the stock room or outside vendor Communicate daily with Department Managers and Supervisors Other duties as assigned Work schedule varies; additional shifts/hours must be worked (sometimes on short or no notice)   Position Requirements Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written Must be able to work independently and multitask for multiple samples and testing Must have good math and computational skills Must have good time management skills Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word Must be willing to work in an environment that will be dirty, greasy, and have a strong odor Must be able to climb ladders and not be afraid of heights Must have a valid California driver’s license and clean driving record   Benefits   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   About the Organization Baker Commodities Inc. has been in business for over 80 years.
