The Role:

Are you an advanced-EMT seeking an adventurous career? Then this position could be for you! You would serve as a non-armed team member of a Protective Security Specialist (PSS) team. You will provide data-driven emergency medical care to team members and principals as required. Due to the nature of these working environments, it is important that you have a background operating in various austere high-risk environments. You will function as the primary medical provider on a PSS team. Ideally, you will have a strong background in military and security operations and the ability to function to the full extent of your abilities in potentially hazardous environments. Although this is an unarmed role, candidates should be comfortable operating in an environment with firearms including a Glock-19 and M4.


Worldwide assignments. Candidates should be aware of the inherent risk that comes with providing medical support in conflict-prone regions.

Position Requirements

**Contingent on contract award**

Minimum Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Passport
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) Advanced-EMT
  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume EMS agency or related experience
  • Fluent command of the English language
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Fit for Duty (FFD) clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance to drive company vehicles
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – CPR or equivalent(s)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent(s)
  • Tactical Combat Casualty Course (TCCC) or equivalent(s)
  • Attend and successfully complete the PSS training courses or other required training

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous military experience as part of an elite team
