This position would be in a remote area and would offer a consistent rotation as well as flights to and from the location.   Duties/Responsibilities: Read, understand and comply with HSE’s Medical Control Guidelines, safety policies and job procedures, as well as all applicable government laws and regulations Report to the area station manager and take specific job directions from Operations for the station in which he/she is working Communicate and record Occupational Health and Safety and general health and wellness information Work within their applicable scope of practice determined by their licensing body and under the medical control of the HSE Medical Director, utilizing the HSE Medical Control Guidelines   Position Requirements Requirements: Current (unrestricted) registration with the applicable provincial licensing body 3 years’ of experience working as a paramedic Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/Health Care Provider (HCP) card Current International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) ticket Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ticket Valid, unrestricted class 4 driver’s license (driver's abstract will be required) Preference will be given to candidates with offshore experience and current offshore tickets Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Above average computer skills All applicants will be required to submit and pass a pre-employment saliva substance test during orientation Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Atlantic provinces   Full-Time/Part-Time Casual   Shift -not applicable-   Paramedic   Division DXP | HSE Integrated Ltd.   This position is currently not accepting applications.
