Share Email Opening Title Pizza Maker  Location Brooklyn, New York   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Description Position Summary: Pizza makers are responsible for baking pizzas in restaurant establishments. Apart from pizzas, they may be required to make other dishes or breads that go with pizza eating. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Provide warm attention and be polite towards our customers Represent the CAI image by coming to work clean and in uniform Be on time for your shift Respect your superiors and fellow workers To participate as part of a team by assisting others when needed Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas Cook and prepare products according to recipe specifications Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity Rotate stock to maintain freshness standards (FIFO – First In, First Out) Clean and maintain the cooking equipment and station area Fulfill all of the assignments given to you Follow all CAI policies and procedures   Position Requirements Extensive experience of preparation, baking and garnishing of pizza items Deep knowledge of professional cooking techniques and Board Of Health standards Operational knowledge of using dough machine, sharp knives, utensils, Familiarity with estimating and mixing ingredients and following recipes Familiarity with estimating and mixing ingredients and following recipes This position reports to: General Manager    EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
