Cashier Supervisor 

Description

SUMMARY
Supervises and directs the Cage Cashiers on a given shift. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the River Spirit Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Supervises shift Cage Cashier staff to ensure all work is carried out to the required standards and adherence to all gaming laws (Federal and Tribal) as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
2. Ensures all staff is scheduled appropriately to meet the operational requirements of the department.
3. Implements and monitors Cage procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations and adherence to all laws and regulations.
4. Responsible for supervising high volume cash and non-cash transactions for our guests and internal customers in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner.
5. Ensures correct procedures are followed for each cage bank, identifies and locate variances within the banks, Poker cage and the front line during shift and communicates any variances accordingly.
6. Responsible for multiple transaction recording and SAR activity.
7. Concisely communicates problems, ideas and concerns to management on a timely basis.
8. Team Member is responsible for answering guest questions about River Spirit property, as well as OPG questions regarding job specific functions.
9. Monitors cage/vault and poker cashier supplies. Requesting supplies when necessary.
10. Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment in work situations requiring individual decisions.
11. Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
12. Additional duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred.


EXPERIENCE
Minimum 6 months cage/vault gaming and supervisory experience required.
 

 
Gaming License Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
