Description

JOB SUMMARY:     Work involves a wide variety of involved clerical operations, requiring the interpretation of broad guidelines. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  1. Processes Personnel Requisitions and coordinates the accurate information with managers
  2. Prepares ad copy and places in appropriate publications
  3. Assists managers in screening resumes and/or conducting interviews
  4. Assembles new hire documents into personnel file and sends out Welcome packets to the new hires
  5. Administers FMLA/FLA/FLI benefits
  6. Administers employee referral program
  7. Assits in managing the agency website recruitment section
  8. Monitors the Applicant Tracking System, including assistance with sourcing, training and follow up on incomplete applications as needed
  9. Screens and directs general calls for HR department from vendors and job candidates; monitors  HR mailbox
  10. Participates in Career Fair Events and Trade Shows, and interacts with candidates and vendors
  11. Completes employment verifications
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   Associates degree with 2 years' HR exp. or certification preferred.  Prior FMLA/FLA/FLI and recruitment experience in healthcare setting a plus.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Attention to detail, excellent follow-up skills, technical skills (HRIS exp. a plus), establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
