Share Email Opening Title Sr. Application Developer  Description Nature and Scope Researches, designs, develops and implements software systems and business applications in conjunction with new and existing products and future development needs.  This position applies principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis in a best practices methodology. It reports to the Application Development Manager within the IT Department.  This position will also assist with building and maintaining Allegacy’s data integration environment along with enhancing its data analytics environment.  This position must balance multiple technical duties for ongoing maintenance of existing applications and systems with other members of the Application Development and Operations Groups.   Specific Accountabilities Completion of all required compliance training to include BSA. Meet or exceed established service goals. Ensure thorough understanding of expectations and consistently exhibit Allegacy behaviors. Collaborate with business representatives to understand requirements generated by business strategies and operations… Develops and implements solutions, with a focus primarily on financial business objectives… Consult on all applications and systems solution development within the enterprise… Facilitate the development and evolution of the development processes and standards… Document and communicate the enterprise applications and systems development…   Position Requirements   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities A strong understanding of object oriented languages and development methods… A strong understanding of structured programming methods and data access concepts… Experience with Core API design, development and implementation… Proficient with .Net Framework, C#, XML, Web Services, SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and BizTalk Server 2010 or newer… Experience with the following development technologies and architectures is a plus: Visual Studio 2008 or later, ADO, ODBC, SharePoint 2010 and/or 2013 Development, and Data Integration architectures (EAI, ETL, EII)… Education and Experience B.S. Degree in Information Systems, three to five years of in-depth production experience creating business related applications in a Microsoft-based Object Oriented language such as C#, ASP.NET, and Java Scripting. Genuine interest and a desire to learn new applications. Must be able to work independently.
