Assembly Worker - 2nd Shift 

Description TradeNet Publishing is currently seeking an experienced Assembly Worker to join our growing team.

The primary responsibility of the Assembly Worker is to perform repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce products.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Uses binder machines to fix parts together, to collage, jog and count sheet of paper. Operates power cutters.
• Sorts and packages product. Performs quality inspections.
• Tends machines, such as big board line, mini line, calendar to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Work at different work stations as production needs require.
• Works on lines where tasks vary as different types of same article moves along line. Rotates line positions according to mandatory health and safety guidelines.
 
Position Requirements • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
• Accomplishes a task thoroughly with concern for all aspects, no matter how small.
• Works well with other co-workers. Takes time to help co-workers achieve department goals and assignments.
• Actively tries to influence events to achieve goals. A self-starter, working well without close supervision. Tries to achieve goals beyond minimal levels of performance.
