Ascentis is doing some exciting things and seeks a talented and driven Solutions Specialist to help support its Sales team. This pivotal role is a key member of the Sales team and supports all pre-sales activities by: 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively developing and delivering compelling software demonstrations and presentations
  • Working closely with potential clients to fully uncover and understand their critical business issues & requirements in looking for a new software partner
  • Maintaining a repository and producing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) / or Information (RFI) for Ascentis solutions
  • Coordinating and working with members of the extended Ascentis organization to research and confirm the best answers to select questions
  • Supporting the Account Executives/Managers/Channels & Partners by providing product/subject matter expertise
  • Working creatively to continue to enhance demo environments making sure we are presenting the solution in the most compelling manner to prospects
  • Working with Product Management and other key stakeholders to provide product feedback and ensure that key features and functions are added to the software roadmap
 
Position Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the HCM industry specializing in one or more of the following domains (Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Learning Management, Talent Management)
  • A minimum of 3 years’ proven successful sales experience, preferably in a pre-sales capacity doing presentations/demonstrations
  • Strong self-starter with the desire and flexibility to operate in a fast paced technology startup environment
  • A natural born leader and pioneer willing explore new markets and ideas
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business
  • Ability to build rapport, establishing trust and credibility through a consultative approach, and balance assertive sales follow-up
  • Deliver dynamic and compelling business presentations/demonstrations either in person or virtually
  • Fast learner who is results-driven with proven ability to sell and project a positive, professional attitude
  • Ability to accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessments
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values and culture
  • Bachelor’s degree required
