Client Implementation Leader 

Description

The Client Implementation Leader oversees a team of 3 – 4 Client Implementation Managers, who in turn instill a high level of customer satisfaction while overseeing the clients’ implementations.     This individual’s main goal is to ensure that all client implementations finish on time or ahead of schedule, at the highest possible standard of quality – as measured by client satisfaction.  The Implementation Leader sets the course for the Implementation team, designing (and revising, as we learn) the operating system we use to manage implementations.  The Implementation Leader serves as the first escalation point, anticipating, troubleshooting and resolving any problems before they endanger client outcomes.

The qualified candidate must be an experienced manager, able to develop and motivate a team. The qualified candidate has past experience overseeing implementations and working with clients.  Qualified candidates are self-starters and highly-motivated to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities will include:

Client Facing:

  • Manage the implementation throughput of the team, ensuring that clients receive high ROI on their investment in Ascentis, as soon as possible.
  • Serve a subject matter and implementation process expert on behalf of your team.
  • Develop implementation schedule and resource allocation plan
  • Ensure that overall customer relationship and satisfaction during all phases of the implementation process is at the highest possible level.

Internal Facing:

  • You are responsible for your team’s performance.  Their productivity and quality is your productivity and quality. 

  • You lead innovations.   You are responsible for finding ways to make our team more efficient and effective.  You should always be looking for what’s not working well, and adjusting our process to resolve the ine“The buck stops with you” attitude when it comes to making clients happy.

  • You are able to handle complicated product and service issues on behalf of clients, marshaling needed resources from across client Success and the company, and seeing the issue through to full resolution, namely when the client is happy.

  • Your indirect influence skills are sophisticated; you work effectively with colleagues across Ascentis.

  • You provide pre-sales advice to the sales team when required

Time Allocation / Prioritization:

  • Prioritize client issues, activities, on-going deployments
  • Develop and coordinate all implementation schedules and resource allocation across all product implementation teams

 

 
Position Requirements

• Prior team leadership experience required
• Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in an external client-facing implementation role
• Experience with producing/maintaining detailed project plans
• Strong oral and written business communication skills
• Ability to prioritize issues /escalations
• Quick analysis, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Highly organized with exceptional follow through
• Bachelor's degree and experience in HCM industry preferred
