Project Manager II 

Description

SUMMARY
Plan, implement, control and evaluate projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring and managing resources and coordinating the efforts of cross-functional team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan, including defining project’s objectives and overseeing quality control throughout the life cycle.  Interact with Division Directors and manage projects in IT, or as assigned. Escalate issues or provide information to immediate Supervisor for resolution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Manage multiple tasks and projects, including new integration and key strategic projects focused on delivering value for MNGE:  define the project scope, create detailed work plan identifying the sequence of activities, determining resources (time, money, equipment), and develop the project schedule for effective allocation of resources to completion.
2. Act as a liaison for MNGE’s implementation team and managers for strategic and tactical planning of integration and project priorities and project portfolios.
3. Drive improvements to the Project Management Office operations and processes, focusing on standardization and simplification of these processes.
4. Ensure the appropriate project execution methodology is followed to deliver projects on time, on budget and to expected quality, based on customer or executive team expectations: develop forms and communication schedules to update stakeholders and staff, keep records to document activities, set up files, and monitor progress of project, review quality of work completed and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
5. Align new integrations and projects to internal standards, monitoring activities, budgeted expenditures, and managing the support documentation or contracts.
6. Maintain and deliver integration and project dashboards for executive reviews and identify and prioritize issues and challenges, measuring and validating project results. 
7. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks; follow the project change control process to make adjustments as necessary; clearly communicate progress, status and issues to internal or external stakeholders.
8. Coordinate delivery of development (beta) and production releases that meet quality assurance standards.
9. Assist test team in creating test plans and testing efforts; document results. 
10. Coordinate meetings with vendors & appropriate parties; remain flexible utilizing excellent interpersonal skills to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. 
11. Ensure and evaluate project deliverables for on-time delivery, budget adherence and required level of quality from planning stage to completion.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in the field of Business (with project management focus), Information Systems, Operations Management, Project Management; Master's degree in above related field preferred; and/or Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute; and/or combination of education & experience.

EXPERIENCE
3-5 years equivalent work experience in the field; strong computer and internet research skills; project coordination experience; knowledge of contracts and casino/hotel management applications and projects.

 
Gaming License Must obtain and maintain gaming license.
