Share Email Opening Title Poker Dual Rate Dealer/Floor  Description SUMMARY Deal a variety of poker games to casino guests proficiently, courteously and accurately. Provide an entertaining experience for guests through superior service. Maintain a sound understanding of game play, rules, internal controls and gaming standards. Encourage repeat business, while maintaining game integrity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES 1. Initiate courteous and friendly conversation with customers. 2. Provide basic education about the game or answer questions about game play protocol to customers when requested or as assigned in order to encourage game activity and repeat business. 3. Information provided cannot be instructive or advisory on how or what cards should be played. 4. Deal designated poker games in accordance with gaming rules, regulations and departmental standards for play, including pace of game, enforcement of game rules, shuffling cards, placement of bets, correct setting of hands. 5. Perform computations quickly and accurately when determining winning and losing hands. 6. Account for Table Tray Bank assigned for shift. 7. Make financial transactions at assigned table, including making change, collecting and paying out bets. 8. Balance bank at shift end. 9. Provide game protection by keeping visual contact of all guests, game layout and game play; monitor the chips and money at the table. 10. Respond to customer demands, requests or challenges to game play in a professional manner. 11. Observe and apply gaming regulations, internal controls; comply with policies and procedures established for the department and MCNC.   Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
