Description

 

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Senior Level Environmental Manager with 10+ years experience for our Charlotte, North Carolina office.  This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Level Environmental Manager to assist in expanding our environmental presence in North Carolina and South Carolina.

 

The successful candidate will have 10+ years experience performing and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, significant experience with brownfields and related work, strong business development skills, leadership and management abilities, and a B.S. in an environmentally-related field. 

 

Types of projects that we have worked on include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • State Voluntary Cleanup Projects (Brownfield Redevelopment)
  • Telecommunications (NEPA)
  • Underground Storage Tanks (Assessment/Removal)
  • Site Remediation (various remediation technologies)
  • ACM/LBP Surveys

 

This position will manage environmental projects and provide direct leadership in phase I and phase II assessments including:

  • Interaction with our diverse client base
  • Management of budgets
  • Coordination with regulatory agencies
  • Direction/mentoring of junior level personnel
  • Continued professional growth

 

REQUIREMENTS: Successful candidates MUST have:

  • BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering
  • 10+ years experience in Phase I and Phase II ESA’s
  • Significant experience with brownfields and related work
  • Experience in North and South Carolina is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to market and build client list
