Share Email Opening Title Tax Services Representative  EOE Statement Ascentis is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.   Description Ascentis is looking for a Tax Services Representative in our Roseville, CA office.  The position will take work direction from the Payroll Tax & Compliance Manager and our clients and also requires extensive interaction with our payroll tax services. Responsibilities: ·         Own a portfolio of Tax clients, independently managing their Tax queries, amendments and issues ·         Drive efficiencies in our processes for managing tax issues; we’re looking for an innovate thinker who enjoys making an impact with clients, and across the team ·         Drive innovations in the way we manage our clients to reduce the number of tax issues upfront ·         Accelerate productivity over time ·         Act as an intermediary between our clients and Ceridian Tax Service ·         Prepare backup paperwork to file amended payroll returns ·         Resolve client concerns and problems related to tax filing issues ·         Make changes or additions to client setup when necessary ·         Reconcile and balance quarterly and year-end data between our system and the tax service ·         Aggressively pursue product and domain expertise Skills: ·         Demonstrate an attitude of “The buck stops with me” when it comes to making clients happy ·         Demonstrate sophisticated client communication skills, ability to manage even the prickliest of clients with aplomb ·         Display strong communication with Partners within Client Success and across Ascentis and with the tax services to ensure the best possible client outcomes ·         Strong organizational, analytical, priority setting and time management skills ·         Ability to work on multiple clients and projects at the same time     Position Requirements Advanced knowledge of payroll taxes and accounting Proficiency with multi-state taxes Minimum 5 years Customer Service experience Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word Experience as part of an in-house Finance team helpful Bachelors degree preferred   Location Roseville   About the Organization The Ascentis mission is to create innovative products that are easy to use for the often under-served mid-market that cover the full Human Capital Management (HCM) suite.
