Looking to be a key player in the success of a growing company?

We have a great opportunity for a Recruiting Manager with 3-5 years of direct recruiting experience.  In this position you will be involved with recruiting, planning, and operations meetings as part of the management team. You will be able to use your creativity to construct job postings and advertisements, select and develop effective recruiting channels as well as revising recruiting policies and procedures.

As the Recruiting Manager in our West End office, your responsibilities will include; achieving the company hiring objectives, hiring successful candidates to keep employee turnover low and customer satisfaction high, and managing our software databases for tracking job applicants.

Primary objectives of the Recruiter:

  • Develop and execute recruiting plans
  • Efficiently and effectively fill all open positions in a timely manner
  • Research, recommend and document new active and passive sources for candidates
  • Build networks through industry contacts, association memberships, employees, etc.
  • Effectively utilize the internet and social media for recruiting
  • Manage the use of recruiters, search firms, and temporary placement agencies
  • Create and place advertising in position appropriate venues
  • Manage trade show and job fair participation
  • Lead the creation of recruiting and interviewing plans for each open position
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone, video, and face-to-face interviews with applicants
  • Conduct background and drug screens as well as other pre-employment assessments

Administrative Duties:

  • On-boarding and orientation of new employees
  • Issue uniform items
  • Comply with record retention laws and company practices
  • Assumes responsibility for your own personal development and continuous learning
  • Keep abreast of new technology, methods, and regulations related to responsibilities
 
Position Requirements

Successful candidates will be non-smokers who have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle along with the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience cold-calling candidates and using multiple recruiting sources
  • Experience using database software, MS Word, Excel, and leveraging the internet and social media
  • Good writing skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Efficient time management
  • 3-5 years of hands-on recruiting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field preferred
