Senior Network Analyst 

Description SUMMARY
Design, build, and implement network systems across the enterprise. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all local and wide area network connections, corporate servers, associated software, and communication links. This person will also troubleshoot network performance issues, as well as analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Monitor and analyze network performance across the organization's LANs, WANs, and wireless deployments.
2. Ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of company networks.
3. Plan and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components.
4. Monitor system capacity to determine its affect on performance and recommend enhancements to meet new or changing network demands.
5. Identify and remedy network performance bottlenecks.
6. Configure and troubleshoot servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
7. Install and configure all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and so on.
8. Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
9. Inspect, maintain, and where necessary replace network cabling, voice/data jacks, and other network- related equipment.
10. Ensure network and IP connectivity of all workstations, application servers, and back-end office infrastructure.
11. Plan and manage budgeting for network hardware and software procurement.
12. Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
13. Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
14. Develop and implement policies for network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, related documentation, and technical specifications information.
15. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and associated training for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.
16. Establish connectivity and uptime service level agreements.
17. Manage and provide guidance to junior members of the team.
 
Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in the field of engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or a related technical field and/or equivalent work experience.
Required Certifications: CCNP

EXPERIENCE
• 7-9 years equivalent work experience in networking.
• Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft 7, Server Operating systems, Cisco iOS and NXOS, etc.
• Extensive hands-on technical knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards such as Ethernet, LAN, WAN, MPLS, xDSL, TCP/IP, ATM, T1, 802.11x, OTV, etc.
• Strong knowledge of network management and analysis tools, including network analyzers/sniffers, Cisco Prime and Solarwinds.
• Extensive client/server and operating system experience with Microsoft, Cisco and VMWare
• Experience working in a switched and routed environment.
• Hardware, software, and network connection troubleshooting experience
• Working technical knowledge of current network hardware including, Cisco Nexus, Cisco UCS, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Wireless LAN controllers, Cisco 6500's, Cisco ASA firewalls and related hardware.
• Skilled at installing/configuring hubs, switches, routers, bridges, etc.
• Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other network security measures.
 
Gaming License Must obtain and maintain gaming license.
