Description

SUMMARY
Creates a gaming atmosphere of excitement for guests and employees and ensure profitability of poker games for the assigned shift. Oversees assigned poker games, providing guidance and direction to staff. Monitors poker games to ensure efficient game play, game integrity, protection of RSC assets, while in compliance with all applicable tribal laws and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to have RSC as the Casino of choice; actively builds and maintains relations to ensure patrons receive superior service and information to encourage return business; initiate courteous and friendly conversations with guests; greet and welcome guest to the gaming floor.
2. Listens to guest complaints and resolve situations in an equitable manner to preserve RSC standards of customer service.
3. Informs Poker Shift Manger of important, relevant facts regarding specific players.
4. Provides gaming instructions to guests when requested, or as assigned, to encourage gaming activity.
5. Assists guests in playing and ensure adherence to established rules and procedures.
6. Actively supports current marketing promotions.
7. Accurately administers and oversees poker games in assigned area and shift, such as maintaining table chip trays/bank roll, inspecting/changing equipment as deemed necessary, maintaining appropriate game spread, ensuring adequate inventory of gaming supplies for area, and generating various operating reports.
8. Supports staff to ensure objectives are accomplished and gaming rules, regulations and internal controls are followed.
9. Opens and closes the Poker room on assigned shift; monitors games in progress to ensure dealing is fast, flawless, procedurally correct or there is no unusual/suspicious activity between player and dealer.
10. Documents and reports noteworthy events to Poker Shift Manager and Poker Manager.
11. Ensures RSC assets are protected at all times; assist in establishment/monitoring of department standards to ensure proper planning, efficient operation of card games and adherence to gaming regulations and internal controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
High School Diploma

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years dealing experience.
1 year of Poker Supervisory experience preferred.
Environment typically is a Class II or III Casino experience preferred.

 
Gaming License Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
