Description

Ascentis Corporation, a market leader in HCM solutions, is looking for a stellar Channels Manager to continue our explosive growth!

Responsibilities

  • Hold ongoing conversations within key accounts: HR, IT and Finance departments.  Maintain knowledge of key account and channels business.  Move key accounts toward full use of HR modules and services.
  • Direct customers to appropriate resources within Ascentis as needed.  Provide assistance with client feedback, quotes, license increases, and payments.  Escalate support issues to management.
  • Actively pursue up-sell opportunities within existing accounts.  Proactively bring all product line cross sell opportunities out to current clients.  Coordinate with the marketing department on product introductions to the existing client base.  Manage pipeline for current account opportunities.  Provide demos to current clients.
  • All time spent at work is productive and job-focused.  Productivity is measured by both sales and daily activity levels.

 

 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in a human capital management technology software company is required (human resources, payroll, time and attendance and recruiting software, for example)
  • Experience of selling to “C” level Executives
  • Strong self-starter with the desire and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced technology startup; open to creative business ideas; a natural-born leader and pioneer willing to explore new markets and ideas
  • Average size of deals closed for past 2 years >$20K
  • Met monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives for past 2 years
  • Past experience with SaaS or on demand application software companies selling to mid and large accounts
  • Proven success in penetrating current accounts with upsell of additional products and cultivating new business
  • Proven ability to increase deal size and accelerate the buying process
  • Ability to accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessments
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values and culture
  • Experience in a Salesforce.com environment highly desired
