As a member of the Direct Sales team, the Sales Representative will be the first point of contact at Vectorworks to create an exciting and seamless experience for the prospective and current customers of our software. This is a unique opportunity to interact and build partnerships with top industry specialists within the Architectural, Landscape and Entertainment/Lighting design fields.

As a Sales Representative a typical day will include…

  • Building relationships with the best CAD users in the industry through making routine telephone sales calls. 
  • Consistent interaction with potential and current clients to promote software offerings.
  • Promote, sell or confirm sales of products and services.
  • Provide customers with product knowledge and top-notch customer service.
  • Collaborating closely with marketing teams to enhance and promote product awareness within the architecture, landscape and entertainment industries.
  • Being an integral part of a collaborative team within Direct Sales.
  • The opportunity to travel to national trade shows and marketing meetings.

 
Position Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field highly preferred.
  • Associates degree with 2 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year inside sales experience with a proven track record for exceeding goals.

You would be a good candidate if you have:

  • Experience or passion for working within the tech industry.
  • Desire to not just meet assigned goals, but exceed them.
  • A dynamic personality and desire to contribute to a greater team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and maintain confidence of peers.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clients.
  • Desire to travel when needed to national trade shows, conferences and prospective client meetings. (up to 15% of the time)

You would be a great candidate if you have:

  • Experience in a technical sales environment.
  • Experience with CAD software, Vectorworks experience highly preferred!
