Quote to Cash (Q2C) Solutions Specialist 

Description

An expert in quote-to-cash software solutions providing services in analysis, configuration, testing and support on one or many packaged solutions within the quote-to-cash spectrum. This includes but is not limited to sales support, configure price quote (CPQ), contract management, product catalog, customer relationship management (CRM), mediation systems, billing systems and related business process management (BPM) solutions.

The Quote-to-Cash Solutions Specialist is responsible for analyzing, implementing, testing, and/or supporting technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team focused on over-delivering to the customer’s expectations. The recipe for success requires true project discipline and expertise with one or many solutions in the Q2C space in configuration, building objects, customization, system administration management, troubleshooting and issue-resolution. This role requires building solutions on packaged system-specific platforms and developing integration processes using Web Services API and third-party integration tools. This customer-centric position must be organized, focused, and driven toward established deliverable dates. Responsibilities include designing solutions and driving related plans, as well as defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.  

Successful candidates will have a fundamental understanding of current business practices and basic knowledge of information management systems, with the drive and ability to think on their feet and build on their existing knowledge quickly in a fast paced, competitive environment.

Applicants should have a minimum of an undergraduate degree or recognized technical diploma in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems or related fields, demonstrable experience at an intermediate level in the information management and systems environment is valued. Provide a confirmed working history that demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving aptitude. Exemplify a high degree of personal integrity and interpersonal skills and abilities. Prove a willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones, implementation deadlines, high volume and the like.  Key qualifications include:

  • Application design, development/configuration, testing, implementation and/or support experience
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong customer-service-oriented work ethic
  • Current with industry development methodologies, technologies, standards and best practices
  • Possesses the ability to work independently and in teams
 
Position Requirements

Required Skills/Experience:

  • B.S. in Computer Science/MIS preferred, with a demonstrated record of academic excellence
  • Self-starter who can multi-task
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A strong sense of urgency in problem resolution

Preferred experience:

  • Working knowledge of relational databases and data modeling techniques
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, CPQ, Billing, BPM
  • Familiarity with integrated development environments such as Eclipse and Force.com IDE
  • 1-5 years’ experience in Salesforce.com development including creating custom objects, workflows, S-Controls, Force.com and VisualForce development and the Apex programming language
  • A proven functional/technical professional with at least 2 full life-cycle in SaaS software implementations
  • 3+ years’ experience using SaaS applications, preferentially CRM
  • Experience in application support or help desk like function
  • Knowledge of processes for managing trouble tickets, service queues and enterprise SLAs
  • Strong configuration and design skills are essential to this position.
  • Proficiency in HTML/XHTML, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, SQL, Java, PHP, SOAP and REST-based web services, Apex, and SOQL
  • Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Professional consulting experience – preference for Big 4 professional services consulting
  • Certifications in any CRM, CPQ, Billing or other relevant technologies
  • Familiarity with Agile and other iterative development methodologies
  • Understanding of Project Management and Business Analysis based on the PMBOK and BABOK principles

  1. Understanding Service Providers and the challenges they face
  2. Understanding Quote to Cash processes and how they drive Service Provider performance
  3. Q2C solutions training
    1. Testing/Development methodologies
    2. Select SaaS Software Product Training

Location & Travel Requirements:

Position is ideally located in the Missoula, MT Solution Center, however location options may include Kansas City metro, St. Louis metro, or the Atlanta metro areas with expected travel up to 50%.
