Summary:  The Project Manager will participate in or lead large, complex strategic projects that require extensive cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: 

The duties and responsibilities to be met by the project manager are:

  • Develop program management processes, methodology and standards for project execution and delivery.
  • Manage the successful implementation of large scale, cross functional, strategic initiatives for the Bank.
  • Assembles and manages  project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules and is responsible for determining and acquiring resources needed
  • Creates project schedule, expense plan, communication plan, tracking & reporting variables.
  • Establish the goals and targets to be achieved with proper timelines.
  • Leads in implementing/applying standard processes for scope/change management, risk management, issue management, quality assurance, estimate variances and project communications.
  • Identify any risk possibilities and manage/ counter them.
  • Must be familiar with the entire scope and requirements of project(s) and serves as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting project
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and arbitrate cross-functional macro level topics, often including key business stakeholders and senior management.
  • Communicate to all stakeholders on a timely basis, often including Senior or Executive Level Management. Manage the successful implementation of large scale, cross functional, strategic initiatives for the Retail Bank.
  • Participate as a member of the Project and Initiatives team, manage the projects and priorities.
  • Prepare proper, timely reports and present them in front of the higher management or high stake investors.
  • Ensure that all the plans in respect to the project are being implemented smoothly.

Other Responsibilities:

Perform other related duties as required or assigned that are in the spirit of this job description and position as necessary for the Bank and the Department to function effectively.
