POSITION TITLE: Senior MILES Training Analyst

LOCATION: Fort Eustis, Va.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential job functions or duties of this position are as follows, but not limited to: Review and analyze MILES policy, program, and requirements documents for validity, accuracy, completeness, and recommend revision; review and provide recommended revisions to MILES Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Material Fielding Plans (MFP), Training Support Products, and Technical Manuals (e.g., Pocket Guides, Operator Manuals and Maintenance Manuals); analyze and develop TES requirements, capabilities, and gap assessment documents that provide the coherent strategy and integrated mechanisms for consolidating the current TES requirements into a configurative approach that will include broad and comprehensive range of TES requirements (Individual Soldier, Combat Vehicle, and CS/CSS Vehicle); make recommendations on alignment and/or rework of requirements based upon user input to TES enablers; provide TES material developers, PEO STRI, with material development integration, cross-program/domain synchronization, and execution management; provide information briefings on TES Training Systems analyses, requirements, and gap assessments; apply current and incorporate emerging Live TES methodologies and strategies to Army Life TES requirements development; research, analyze, coordinate, and staff the requirements for TES training systems with the appropriate organizations; prepare and maintain routine and specialized documents/reports (to include database and library/folders) that support the analysis, management, and traceability of TES related programs; and perform coordination within TRADOC and other Army Commands (ACOMs) services.

Employee will also perform such other duties as are customarily performed by other persons in similar such positions, as well as such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Employer.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Former U.S. Army Officer with knowledge of military doctrine and tactics. Individual must have the experience and knowledge to integrate military doctrine and tactics into TESS training systems requirements. Must have knowledge and experience in the development of Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) documentation.

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: DoD Secret Clearance

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

A Master’s Degree in Training Education OR related field with at least five (5) years specific experience in educational research.

A bachelor’s degree plus three (3) additional years of specific experience may be substituted for the master’s degree requirement
