Description

We’re currently looking for the best solution software sales professionals in the region to join our team and help successfully expand our national sales force. This individual will be responsible for driving sales initiatives into a geographic territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in a fast-paced, innovative team environment you will be empowered to sell Ascentis solutions
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales quota and business targets
  • Deliver corporate presentations and demonstrations via the web to mid and senior level business owners and executives
  • Utilize CRM to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and account and effectively manage territory
  • Manage sales opportunities through account prospecting, lead qualification, opportunity management, forecasting, resource allocation, account strategy, and planning
  • Participate in the development, presentation and sale of a complete value proposition primarily via telephone and web contact
 
Position Requirements

What are the requirements?

  • A minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience in a technology software company is required
  • Strong self starter with the desire and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced technology startup; open to creative business ideas; a natural-born leader and pioneer willing to explore new markets and ideas
  • Average size of deals closed for past 2 years >$50K
  • Met monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives at least 3 out of last 4 years
  • Past experience with SaaS or on demand application software companies selling to mid and large accounts
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business
  • Ability to build rapport, establishing trust and credibility through a consultative approach, and balance assertive sales follow-up
  • An understanding of HRIS, Payroll, and HCM solutions in a direct sales capacity is preferred
  • Fast learner who is results-driven with proven ability to sell and project a positive, professional attitude
  • Proven ability to increase deal size and accelerate the buying process
  • Ability to accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessments
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values and culture
  • Bachelor’s degree required
