Relationship Manager 

Description

This position will be a team member of Wealth Management whose responsibility is to work with senior management, mortgage operations, financial center operations, and Allegacy Investment Group in order to identify high net worth individuals for membership with Allegacy Federal Credit Union.  This position serves the financial needs of these members as a personal banker.  The Relationship Manager is held accountable for identifying Wealth Management clients, developing a relationship with clients, retaining these clients, and referring these clients to key areas listed above to grow the business for the credit union.

Position takes a public role in developing and maintaining relationship of Allegacy Federal Credit Union to its local community as well as other communities it serves.

This position is responsible for meeting the annual Wealth Management portfolio goals to include monies on deposit with Allegacy Federal Credit Union, Allegacy Investments referral goals and increasing loan limits. Internally, this position is responsible for working with marketing, business development, mortgage, retail operations, Payment Systems, VISA, and the contact center. Externally, this position involves working with the member on a one to one basis to help them achieve his/her financial goals.

 

 

 

                              

 
Position Requirements

Specific accountabilities

  • Knowledge of wealth management guidelines as defined by board policy and procedure.
  • Knowledge of software to track results of prospective and acquired business.
  • Knowledge of potential areas of revenue for the benefit of the credit union with and outside of its resources.
  • Knowledge of referral process to the Wealth Management area and to other areas of the credit union in order to increase assets under management.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development to enhance success of the credit union.
  • Commitment to learn from and implement ideas from external resources such as consultants on how we may improve this line of business.
  • Commitment to continual training on products and services offered by the credit union in order to determine how they may best meet the financial needs of our clients.
  • Commitment to continuing education to expand knowledge base on finances.
  • Ability to manage change, problem-solve and make decisions. Apply interpersonal skills to individual financial situations.
