Member Service Representative 

Description

The primary purpose of this position is to assist Allegacy Federal Credit Union in living out its mission, “to help you make smart financial choices” and support the expected behaviors of the Synergy culture.  To achieve this goal the employee must provide outstanding service to both internal and external members.  A key component of this service to identify the financial needs of the member and recommend an appropriate credit union solution. In addition, this position must satisfy members financial needs by processing monetary transactions with accuracy. This individual will provide excellent customer service and sell products and services to meet the members’ specific needs.The incumbent in this position must satisfy members financial needs by processing monetary transactions with accuracy. This individual will provide excellent customer service and sell products and services to meet the members’ specific needs.    This position will require face-to-face contact with the membership on a daily basis.  Teamwork with other staff members is required to ensure prompt and courteous service to all members.  This position description is not intended and should not be construed to be a comprehensive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with the job.
 

 
Position Requirements

  1.  Excellent customer service skills.
  2.  At least one year experience in banking or credit unions in a call center member service environment.
  3.  Ability to meet balancing standards consistently.
  4.  Excellent interpersonal skills.
  5.  Previous exposure to office machines.
  6.  Ability to excel in a sales and service team environment.
