Responsibilities include management/accomplishment of curbside pickup and the 90-day Hazardous Waste Accumulation Point; monitoring and tracking of hazardous materials; administration requirements of the EESOH-MIS
database, Hazardous Waste operation, Industrial Recycling processes, and Compliance Assistance Visits; and adhering to all Air Force policies and goals on hazardous materials minimization. This support shall also include completing requirements for similar wastes such as non-hazardous industrial and special waste, used oil, and off-spec fuel; waste consolidation/lab packing, waste turn in/preparation for shipment, pick-up of waste for transfer to central accumulation area, etc..
Position will also include:
? Transporting HW generated within the Dix area from the IAPs to the TSDF/central storage facility pending disposal.
? Performing and documenting daily inspections of the 90-day accumulation point at Lakehurst and maintaining logs as required.
? Inspecting HW containers, fire protection equipment, water supply, spill and decontamination equipment, communications equipment, and alarm systems.
? Conducting an annual compliance assessment at each hazmat/HW customer storage facility during the performance of the call order.
Certifications:
Must have completed the OSHA 1910.120, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training and/or other applicable training including Department of Transportation (DOT) – 49 CFR 172.704 "HazMat Employee" and current Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) annual HW Refresher training.

Must be a U.S. citizen and either possess or have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
