Description
  • Perform general shop duties and occasional fire extinguisher maintenance
  • Servicing air trailers, packs and hoses, hotshots
  • Driving equipment and going to the field on rare occasions
  • Install monitoring equipment on rig sites
  • Learn and understand rigs and rig site to be able to install equipment in a professional manner Maintain/Calibrate/Repair all portable monitors, wireless and hardwire systems
  • Sign out equipment to jobs
  • Repair/Calibrate equipment for customers
  • Other assigned duties at the discretion of management
  • Necessary training will be provided for this position
 
Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience performing general shop duties including the service and maintenance of equipment
  • H2S Alive and First Aid/CPR certifications
  • Fire extinguisher maintenance experience an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to work independently
  • Prior experience and aptitude for working with electronics
  • Prior experience with drilling or service rigs an asset
  • Prefernce will be given to candidates residing in the Fort McMurray region
